How do I change the featured youtube video on my channel page?

Log-in to your account > On the top right you will see a drop down box with your username > Click “My Channel > Click (top middle) “Videos and Playlists” > choose the video from the “Featured video” field > Save changes.

Tomtom Go 520 New street names do not appear anymore after upgrade

After upgrading some new street names do not appear anymore and the speed camera’s appear on the wrong side of the road.

This is what we did:

STEP 1 Rename your download folder.STEP 2 Format your device

Tomtom go 520 voice command feature missing after upgrade

I upgraded my Go 520, but now I do not have the voice command feature anymore on my device. The cspeech_GBR.dat file is present and I do have Kate as the default voice for the uk. we’ve tried everythin as per the tech suppoer suggestions, but with no luck. Any ideas, please?

This is what we did:

STEP 1 Rename your download folder.

- Please make sure that TomTom Home is completely closed by checking that there are no Red Hands by your clock on your computer.
- If you see Red Hands, Please Right Click and then Exit.
- Then Please go to My Documents or Documents and then rename TomTom to TomTomOLD

STEP 2 Format your device

- Open My Computer; you will see the TomTom device as a removable disk drive.
- Right click on the TomTom device drive and choose ‘Format’ (Please make sure quick format is not selected)

On a Mac:-
- On a Mac, you can format the disk via ‘Disk Utility’, Select the TomTom drive and select ‘MS DOS File System’ and press erase.
The application can be found under Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility

After the Format has completed, please disconnect your TomTom device from your computer.

It will now have a red cross on the screen.

STEP 3 Open TomTom HOME

- Log in to your account with your email address and password for your TomTom account.
- On Page 2 of TomTom HOME, click on ‘Manage My TomTom -> Items on Computer’
- Tick the option for ‘Applications’
- Tick the option for ‘Voices’
- Click on ‘Remove Selected Items’

STEP 4 Install the Application

- Reset your TomTom device as shown on www.tomtom.com/6965
- Connect it to your computer and THEN turn it on
- HOME will now search for updates automatically. If not please click on “Update my Device”
- A list of updates should appear; make sure your map is NOT ticked at this stage
- If there is a TomTom application (with the green puzzle piece icon), please ensure it is ticked
- Click on ‘Update and Install’
- Once complete click on Done and your device should reboot itself
- Once it connects again it will look for more updates
- When you have a new list of updates please click on Back
- Disconnect the device by clicking on the Blue Eject button in the bottom right
- Now connect again and repeat STEP 4 to install any further Application updates until no more updates are offered

STEP 5 Install the Map, Voices etc

- Once the application updates are all installed please connect again and click on Update my Device
- This time make sure the map is ticked and any voices you want to install
- Click on Update and Install
- Once it’s complete, click on Done
- Disconnect the device by clicking on the Blue Eject button in the bottom right

How to delete my facebook account permanently

Log in if not already logged in > Click Submit > Okay > DO NOT access your account within 14 days or it will be activated again.

WordPress errors after changing permalinks

I’m got 404 Errors after changing prermalinks. I used the “Advanced Permalinks” plugin and got things to work again, but after the WordPress upgrade to version 3.2, I am now getting the following errors at the top of my page:

Nice Social Bookmark – no img width and height attributes

Website producers often include images on their pages badly, creating accessibility issues for visitors and increasing page load times.

It is important to include the width and height attributes in each image tag. The mark-up is valid without a height and width attribute, but it is best practice to include them.

You can include them by adding the width and height attributes to the images in the following file: modules\mod_nice_social_bookmark\mod_nice_social_bookmark.php

Joomla Joomfish flag has no image size assigned

To comply to W3C standards images must have height and width sizes allocated.

If you want to add that to the images you can add it in: modules\mod_jflanguageselection\tmpl\namesplusimages.php

Joomla, Jomres Google Maps – 4

The phase 2 assault on the map continued last night and we implemented one of the main parts…The dragable pin in Property details to acquire the LONG and LAT values by dragging the pin to your location…In Street View!

We are now able to drag the pin to the precise location, in case google can’t get it right, so no need to leave jomres to go to another site for the long and lat values. Hoorah!

We will be able to remove:
Jomres will pass your address to Google to generate the map position in the property details. If for whatever reason Google cannot find your address based on the information found above, you can enter latitude and longitude in the lat/long fields instead. If you choose to enter the latitude and longitude, please note that we have found the Google earth lat and long information to be inaccurate so you are advised instead to visit the itouchmap site and use their information to determine your latitude and longitude. When entering your lat and long, the format should be something like ’51.754564622′ and ‘-4.997314810′.

We still need to clean up some of debris left by the code bombardment and also put in a check to default to map view if there are not any street view information. This is important for areas where the spy drones have not been yet.

I will send a demo example once this phase is completed and the webforless guys are happy with testing so you can see how it works in real live.

Joomla, Jomres Google Maps – 3

The Joomla, Jomres Google map task force met in an undisclosed bunker last night. A lot of headway was made with the map. The webforless wordpresss experts and Itecwebdesign was able to map the jomres database fields and add the map, pulling in the properties with lat and long info.

The next step would be to assign icons for the different property types and a filter to only display certain property type icons on the map.

We also need to put a draggable pin on the edit property page, among other things.

The strategies and implementation lasted till early morning, when the task force had to disperse until further intelegance has been gathered…

sh404sef Content Encoding Error – jomres links

I had an issue when adding a manual jomres link to a link on an article. The link was in the following format:
index.php?option=com_jomres&feature_uids[]=87&ptype=All&send=Search&calledByModule=mod_jomsearch_m1&Itemid=24

I got the following error:

Content Encoding Error

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
* Please contact the web site owners to inform them of this problem.

Solution: Disable GZIP Page Compression
How: Go to joomla backend > Global Configuration > Server > GZIP Page Compression = NO

That solved it for me.
